At the Vancouver Canucks, I worked as a volunteer junior editor supporting the social and content team on fast-turnaround short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube and in-arena screens. I ingested and organized game footage, practice B-roll, and press conferences; built stringouts and rough cuts in Adobe Premiere Pro; applied color correction, audio cleanup, and simple motion graphics in After Effects. I focused on strong hooks and tight pacing across player spotlights, mic’d-up moments, bench reactions, community events, and game-day recaps, optimizing titles, thumbnails, and on-screen text for retention. I collaborated closely with producers and social managers to prioritize storylines, met same-day deadlines under pressure, kept projects organized for handoffs, and followed sponsor and league guidelines.
